Biography

I began my academic journey in electrical engineering, where I designed and worked on a range of technical projects. Over time, I became increasingly fascinated by how these technologies influence and shape people’s lives. This curiosity led me to shift my focus from purely technical problem-solving to exploring the social and cultural dimensions of technology. My research focuses on the impact of emerging media technologies on society, with particular interest in both their positive potential and the challenges they present.

Before joining Hood College, I taught a variety of courses in the Department of Communications Media at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. These included Introduction to Communications and Media, Media Wellness, Online Media Production, Editing for Video and Film, Podcasting, 3D Animation, Web Design, and others.

When I am not in the classroom, I spend time playing virtual reality (VR) games and exploring the fun of the new technologies.
