We invite our students, Alumni and families to join us on Campus for Homecoming & Fall Family Weekend, October 2-4, 2026! More events and details will be added to the schedule as they are finalized.

Thursday, October 1
9 - 5 p.m.	Gear Shop Open, Whitaker Campus Center, 1st Floor Stock up on Hood Apparel for the entire family!
8:30–10:30 p.m.	Residence Hall Programming Blazer Hall – Ground-Floor Lounge UNO Tournament Residents will compete in several short rounds of UNO, with winners advancing to a championship round. A small prize will be awarded to the tournament champion. Memorial Hall – Second-Floor Lounge Team Trivia Night Residents will form teams and compete in music, movies, sports, campus knowledge, and general trivia. The team earning the most points will win a small prize. Coblentz Hall – Third-Floor Lounge Paint & Snack Night Residents will create artwork on small canvases or painting sheets while enjoying music and snacks. Students can follow a theme or paint freely. No artistic experience is required.


Friday, October 2
9:00 - 7:30 p.m.	Gear Shop Open, Whitaker Campus Center, 1st Floor Stock up on Hood Apparel for the entire family!
8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.	Blazer Club Golf Tournament, PB Dye Golf Club, Ijamsville, MD The Blazer Club Golf Tournament is a memorable day of fun and networking that raises funds to support facilities, equipment, and uniforms for our Blazer student-athletes. Registration required.
5:30-6:30 p.m.	"History on the Double" with Maryland Double Deckers. Hop on the double decker bus for a fun and unique tour of Frederick (and Hood) history! The tour starts and ends at the College. $25 per person. Registration required
6 p.m.	F-1 International Student Dinner Coblentz Seminar Room. Registration required please email al-dajane@hood.edu to register
6:30 p.m.	Women's Volleyball vs. Roanoke, Woodsboro Bank Arena, Volpe Athletic Center
7-9 p.m.	RINGO! Sponsored by the Alumni Executive Board. Join the AEB for a fun night of Bingo and prizes! All proceeds benefit the Hood Legacy Ring and Scholarship Program. Whitaker Campus Center, Commons. More information to come
8:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.	Residence Hall Programming Shriner Hall – Lounge Minute-to-Win-It Games Residents will compete individually or in teams through quick challenges such as cup stacking, balloon games, cookie-face races, and candy-relay competitions. Smith Hall – Ground-Floor Lounge Karaoke & Mocktails Residents can perform their favorite songs individually or with friends while enjoying nonalcoholic mocktails and refreshments. Students are also welcome to attend, watch, and socialize. Meyran Hall – Lounge Game Show Night Residents will form teams and compete in rounds inspired by Family Feud, Jeopardy!, and “Are You Smarter Than an RA?” Questions will include campus knowledge, music, pop culture, and general trivia.


Saturday, October 3
8:30 a.m.	Women's Lacrosse vs. Alumni, Thomas Athletic Field
9 a.m.	Saturday Morning Story Time, Beneficial-Hodson Library & Learning Commons, 1st Floor Free and open to the public!
9:30 a.m.	Men's Lacrosse vs.Alumni, Thomas Athletic Field
10 –11:30 a.m	Pastries with the Provost, by invitation only for the Parent Advisory Council
11:00 - 4:00 p.m.	Gear Shop Open, Whitaker Campus Center, 1st Floor Stock up on Hood Apparel for the entire family!
11 a.m. – 2 p.m.	Coblentz Dining Hall Brunch, Visitors can purchase at the door (Hood is a “cashless” campus; please bring a credit card).
1 p.m.	Men's Soccer Conference Opener vs. Alvernia, Thomas Athletic Field
1–3 p.m.	AEB Annual Hood Scavenger Hunt Bring your team of Hood students, alumni, family and friends to and test your knowledge of Hood College for a chance to great prizes and bragging rights!! Register your team (Required). Shotgun start at Alumnae House Nelson Coleman Jewelers will be in the Whit Atrium from 1-3pm, premiering the new Hood Ring – stop by to find out your ring size and pick up a sweet treat!
2 - 2:45 p.m.	Fall Family Parade: Enjoy a parade through campus!
3–5 p.m.	Fall Festival on the Quad, Residential Quad
3-5 p.m.	Art Reception and Artist Talk, Hodson Gallery Tatem Arts Center 1st Floor Join Artist Chris Combs for an Art Reception for his exhibit Bioreactor. An artist talk will take place at 4 p.m. during the reception. For more information please contact the Gallery Director.
4 p.m.	Women's Soccer Conference Opener vs. Alvernia, Thomas Athletic Field
6 - 7 p.m.	Inspired! Film Screening, Whitaker Commons, Whitaker Campus Center Join us for a screening of Inspired! how Frederick's leaders made the city the success story it is today.
