Class of 2026 Profile

523 undergraduate and graduate students earn Hood degrees.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026!
On May 16, 2026, the Hood College community celebrated the Class of 2026 at the 129th Commencement ceremony.
You are comprised of 277 undergraduate and 243 graduate students.
You come from 14 different states and Washington, D.C.
Fifty-five of you are legacy graduates, meaning you have a relative who is also a Hood alumni.
Ten of you are military veterans or active duty service members, including two newly commissioned cadets from the ROTC program.
As Hood graduates, you have learned far more than the content of textbooks or the requirements of a major. You have learned how to think critically in a world overflowing with noise. You have learned how to lead with empathy in a culture too often defined by division. You have learned how to work across differences, solve problems creatively and serve something greater than yourself.
In the words of President Debbie Ricker, Ph.D., “This, my dear Blazers, is your moment. And you are more prepared than you know. You are prepared because you have been shaped by enduring Hood values. Integrity, curiosity, service, justice, belonging and courage.”
Are you ready to say Hello?
