Please briefly share your educational and professional background.

I graduated four years ago from the University El Bosque in Bogotá, Colombia and then worked in organizational and clinical psychology.

I decided that I wanted to improve my skills in organizational psychology/human resources because it is an area that I feel passionate about. Besides, HR is the lifeblood of a company.

I am very excited to have the opportunity to improve my skills through my MBA program.

When I realized that my passion was to work in Human Resources, I decided that I needed to enhance those skills as well as my business skillset, so the perfect combination was to get an MBA.

As an international student, was it hard to adjust to the education system in the States?

Hood staff and faculty have helped and supported me to adjust by introducing and explaining everything about the college.

I also like that they are always there even though we are experiencing difficult times during the pandemic.

What would you like to tell international students thinking of pursuing their degrees at Hood?

I would tell them go for it! I feel so happy that I started my journey at Hood College, as I am part of a great community.
