Hood College Alumni Birthright Journey to Ghana, April 4-14, 2025

The Hood College Alumni Birthright Journey to Ghana will be the capstone of a yearlong series of events marking the 30th anniversary of the African American Studies Program and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Black Student Union.

This 10-day trip is April 4-14, 2025 and is open to all Hood alumni, friends, and family. We have carefully curated an itinerary that includes visits to historical and heritage sites, including Cape Coast, immersive cultural experiences, traditional and contemporary excursions, and community service engagements. We are also planning a special event during the trip to connect with West African Hood alumni.
