Congratulations on Becoming a Blazer!
We are excited to meet you and help to acclimate you to your new home at Hood College. As a new student, you are required to participate in Orientation – a multi-day experience designed to engage you, connect you, and help you to make a smooth transition into Hood College.
Orientation will help you to BELONG at Hood College through intentional programming designed to kick off a positive and productive first year.

This checklist is designed to help you to complete all of the necessary requirements to have a smooth transition to Hood College. The checklist contains links to important forms, IT information, placement test information, housing information, and more.
- Attend Orientation
All students are required to attend orientation. You have already been registered to attend. Parent(s) and guest(s) are welcome to join you on the first day of Orientation until we say farewell at the BBQ Send-off. Don’t worry – we’ve got you from there!
