Faculty Promotions

FREDERICK, Maryland—Three Hood College faculty members received promotions during the Board of Trustees meeting in March.

Marisel Torres-Crespo, Ph.D., director of the Onica Prall Child Development Laboratory School, was promoted to associate professor of early childhood education and awarded tenure.

Chris Stromberg, Ph.D., was promoted to professor of chemistry. He was awarded tenure in August 2012.

Donald Wright, Ph.D., director of the Middle Eastern Studies program and chair of the Department of Global Languages and Cultures, was promoted to professor of French and Arabic. He was awarded tenure in August 2014.
