A very special part of our Reunion Weekend activities is the presentation of the Alumni and Distinguished Faculty Awards. Please give some thought to your classmates, other alumni and former professors who would be worthy of having their achievements recognized in this special way.
Excellence in Service to Hood College Award
The Excellence in Service to the College Award shall be awarded annually to an alumna or alumnus who has shown continuing loyalty and outstanding service to Hood College.
Distinguished Alumna/us Award
The Distinguished Alumna/us Award shall be awarded annually to an alumna or alumnus who has made significant professional and/or volunteer contributions to society.
Outstanding Recent Alumna/us Award
The Outstanding Recent Alumna/us Award is reserved for an alumna or alumnus who has demonstrated competence and achievement in either professional or community life within 15 years of graduation.
Distinguished Faculty Award
The Distinguished Faculty Award shall be awarded annually to a retired or former faculty member who personifies the Four Pillars of Hope, Opportunity, Obligation and Democracy through their advising, teaching, mentorship and support of Hood students.
