NeighborHOOD Partnership Program

Employees and their dependents of our partners have access to tuition discounts for both undergraduate and graduate credits. Our current NeighborHOOD Partners include: Frederick Health, Leidos, Frederick County Chamber of Commerce, Fort Detrick, Frederick County Public Schools, Frederick City and Frederick County Government.

Biomedical Research and Training Center, Hodson Science & Technology Center

A three-story, 32,000-square foot addition that will provide the instructional and laboratory space needed to accommodate program growth.  The expansion will create wet lab training space, conference and meeting space, classrooms with virtual technology and an 80-seat auditorium and green house.  

Life Sciences Partnerships and the Biomedical Research and Training Center (The Biomedical Research and Training Center will receive $610,000 from the Department of Education’s FIPSE.  The Maryland Department of Commerce’s E-Novation Initiative Fund has provided $1 million to fund an endowed Director of the Biomedical Research and Training Center.  

Kite Pharma has a temporary training center, back in December 2020, before they received their FDA approval, this center was established.  

Leidos Biomedical Research, hosts their international Oncogene Conference bi-annually.
