Frederick County Workforce Services

The Bioscience Research and Education Center (BREC) at Hood College and Frederick County Workforce Services (FCWS) have entered into a new partnership to provide Frederick County and Maryland residents with cutting-edge training in data analytics and artificial intelligence, helping local workers gain the skills needed to compete in one of the fastest-growing sectors of the economy.

Through a new agreement between the organizations, FCWS will fund two cohorts of an AI-Enhanced Data Analytics Program to be developed and delivered by BREC during spring 2027 and fall 2027. The program is designed to serve unemployed, underemployed and incumbent workers seeking to advance their careers through industry-relevant training.
