Biography

Aijuan Dong, Ph.D., has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in a wide range of areas, including programming, algorithms, data structures, database management, data mining, web development and practicum, programming language concepts, computer vision, and big data processing.
 
Dr. Dong's research interests encompass artificial intelligence and machine learning, health informatics, database technologies, cloud computing, knowledge representation and inference, and computer science pedagogy. Her current focus is on designing and applying scalable deep learning models and causal reasoning approaches to analyze large and diverse datasets.
