Biography
Dr. Tzoc's teaching centers explorations of social inequalities and social justice at the local, national, and international levels. Specialized course topics include classes on health and medicine, mental health, childhood and youth, American families, social problems, and the labor market.
Dr. Tzoc's research investigates inequalities focused on health, higher education, and the labor market. Her ongoing projects assess how stratification in the labor market (according to income, education, and prestige) influences mental health and retirement preparation.
