Delaplaine Foundation Supports Reading

For the third consecutive year, the Delaplaine Foundation, Inc. has supported the Reading Specialization program with a $10,000 contribution. The funds will be used for scholarships and technology. Reading Specialization director Dr. Ellen Koitz calls the continuing philanthropy "a tremendous resource for students in need of financial aid and for the youth we reach through our camps and clinics." Delaplaine Foundation is a private family foundation based in Frederick, Maryland. It is dedicated to the enrichment of communities and families within Maryland, nearby states and the District of Columbia by supporting programs to strengthen the arts and sciences, historical preservation, educational advancement, spiritual enlightenment and physical well-being.
