The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program is designed for current MSN holders who are seeking a terminal degree in nursing practice. With a focus on systems leadership, our program will advance your knowledge, skill and ability to serve as an agent of change in complex healthcare environments.
The 39-credit DNP program combines clinical, organizational, economic and leadership skills which are necessary to improve health outcomes and translate research into practice. You will complete coursework in evidence-based practice and research methods, healthcare finance and business management, population health and epidemiology, healthcare policy, politics and advocacy, and more. You will also participate in a seminar and practicum as well as a three-phase capstone project that reflects your personal and professional goals.
Courses are offered fully online for added flexibility.
