Thanatology Certificate Online
As of fall 2020, the thanatology certificate program is offered 100% online.
The thanatology certificate is one of the few and best in the United States. This 12 credits certificate coursework specifically prepares individuals to work with the terminally ill and the bereaved and to provide death education.
These programs blend responsive curriculum with a flexible and convenient format for working professionals.
Hood College has been approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements. NC-SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education, which will allow Hood to offer our online degrees beyond state boundaries.
