Fall 2018 Concerts

FREDERICK, Maryland—The Hood College Department of Music invites the community to its numerous student concerts in November and December.

Of special interest this year is the Dec. 2 program “Holidays at Hood: A Celebration of Light,” which combines elements of previous years’ “Messiah” and “Candlelight Vespers” programs. Music and readings from a variety of sacred and secular traditions will focus on unity, peace and light. Student choirs and instrumental ensembles along with professional soloists and instrumentalists will perform. The audience will be invited to join in singing Christmas and winter-themed songs.
