Identify as disabled or an ally? Interested in spending time with great people and organizing fun events? Consider joining an OAS student group.
The Disabled Student Union (DSU) is a student-run organization on campus. The mission of the DSU is to create an open environment for the Hood College disabled community and its allies to come together in partnership. They strive to:
- Promote the principles of universal design while dismantling ableism.
- Improve campus accessibility for students with disabilities.
- Raise awareness of disability and disabled people's experiences on campus.
- Create a sense of community and camaraderie and a safe space where all are welcome.

Neurodivergent Meet Up is a casual space for Hood folx who identify as neurodivergent to come together in community. We will have group hang-outs, social skills workshops, field trips and guest speakers. Email accessibilityservices@hood.edu if you're interested.
