How do you Hood Hello? The Hood Hello - the custom of greeting people you pass on campus - is one of the many traditions that make Hood feel like home for students from the start of your time here. Be on the lookout for staff and faculty across campus with a Hello! pin. Say hello, take a selfie, ask for help or directions, Hood staff and faculty are here to support YOU.

Find Your Flow Routine Workshop | Student Success Center | 1-2 p.m.
Join us for a workshop designed to help you build effective daily habits and routines that support your academic achievement and personal well-being. Learn more about time management, goal setting, and study planning. Whether you're a new student or looking to improve your current routine, this workshop will help you to start the semester strong and remain successful!
Friendship Speed Dating | Whitaker Commons | 7-8 p.m.
We know making new friends can be hard and we're here to help! Join us for an evening of speed friending. Not sure what to say to your soon-to-be friends? We'll have prompts available on the table so you won't run out of things to talk about! Light snacks and beverages will be provided.

Careers, Cones, and Cornhole | Quad | 1-2 p.m.
Swing by the Quad to learn more about the Career Center and to sign up for Handshake - check in with Career Center staff to get your ticket for a snowball from Snowball Waterfalls. While you're outside, take a break and enjoy a game of cornhole!
Welcome Wellness Fair | Whitaker Commons | 3-5 p.m.
Drop by the Wellness Fair to meet campus and community resources and to pick up some goodies!
Welcome Back CAB Bingo | Whitaker Commons | 8-10 p.m.
Join CAB for a favorite Hood tradition - BINGO! Try your luck at winning some amazing prizes, including a TV, Beats headphones, a Keurig, and more.

Sophomore Spotlight | Student Success Center | 1-2 p.m.
Did you write a letter to yourself during New Student Orientation last year? Stop by the Sophomore Spotlight to open your letter and see how far you've progressed toward your goals.
Learn to Ride the Frederick City Bus | Meet at Volpe Athletic Center | 2:30 p.m.
Curious about how to get around Frederick without a car? Learn how to utilize Frederick public transportation so you can get where you need to go with ease!
Puzzle Competition (teams of 4) | Whitaker Commons | 5-7 p.m.
Grab your friends and form a team for a puzzle competition! Each team will receive the same 500 piece puzzle. The top three teams who complete their puzzle the fastest will win prizes. Pizza will be provided to participants. You must RSVP to participate! For more information, email studentengagement@hood.edu.

Bus Trip to the Flying Boxcars Game | Meet at the Whitaker Campus Center Lot | 5:30 p.m.
Take me out to the ballgame! We're taking a bus to the Flying Boxcars baseball game. Weather-permitting, we'll stay for the post-game fireworks show. You must RSVP to reserve your seat on the bus. For more information, email studentengagement@hood.edu.
