Assessment Plans

Undergraduate degree programs have planned for the assessment of student learning through the development of curriculum maps and master rubrics.

Curriculum maps describe the assessed course assignments within each degree program and their relation to program Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs). Courses included in program curriculum maps are typically assessed every semester that the course occurs.

Master rubrics provide a standard instrument to assess achievement of the SLOs for course assignments within the program. Many programs do not use master rubrics, instead relying on the expertise of instructors to determine student performance scores.
