Accepted Students

Congratulations on your acceptance to Hood College!

Next steps for first-year students:

  1. Submit your enrollment deposit to secure your place in the Hood College Class of 2024! Our enrollment deadline is May 1, so be sure to submit your deposit before that date. If you're planning to live on campus, this deposit also secures your place in our residence halls. For more information about campus housing, click here.
  2. Register for Accepted Students' Day.
  3. Be on the lookout for information about setting up your Hood College email account. Email information will be sent beginning in March. Set this up, as you will need this account to take your placement tests, be advised, and register for classes.
  4. Learn more about and register for Virtual Advising and Registration Sessions that begin in May.
  5. Submit a request to your high school to have your final transcripts delivered to Hood.
  6. Submit a request to College Board to have your AP test scores delivered to Hood. If you've taken the SAT or ACT, submit those scores as well! SAT and ACT scores will not affect your admission decision or scholarships, but they are required for reporting purposes.
  7. Attend fall orientation in August - this is the official beginning of your time as a Hood Blazer. Congratulations!
