Accepted Students

Congratulations on your acceptance to Hood College!

Next steps for freshmen:

  1. Submit your enrollment deposit to secure your place in the Hood College Class of 2023! National Decision Day is May 1, so be sure to submit your deposit before that date. If you're planning to live on campus, this deposit also secures your place in our residence halls. For more information about campus housing, click here.
  2. Once you submit your deposit, you will receive a letter in the mail as well as an email that contain login information for your Hood College email account. Set this up right away - this is where we will send important information about placement tests, advising and registration sessions as well as fall orientation details!
  3. Submit a request to your high school to have your final transcripts delivered to Hood.
  4. Submit a request to College Board to have your AP test scores delivered to Hood. If you've taken the SAT or ACT, submit those scores as well! SAT and ACT scores will not affect your admission decision or scholarships, but they are required for reporting purposes.
  5. Take your online placement tests.
  6. Attend a Summer Advising and Registration Session for First Year Students, and get to know other members of your class!
  7. Attend fall orientation in August - this is the official beginning of your time as a Hood Blazer. Congratulations!
