Senior Class Giving

Class of 2022

Did you know that there is a long standing tradition of a Senior Class Gift to Hood? Every year, members of the senior class make a meaningful gift, which is an opportunity to reflect on their time here, all of the opportunities they have been given and pay it forward.

Hood has laid the foundation and helped launch the careers of so many alumni before you, whether through the value of a liberal-arts education, a professor’s mentorship or an internship placement that led to employment.

Blazer Bricks

More than 100 years ago, the founders of Hood College laid the foundation for this great institution - brick by brick.

Many parents at Hood have also opted to commemorate their student's experiences at Hood with a Blazer Brick in the Jeanne Zimmerman Gearey '52 Plaza located between Alumnae Hall and Hodson Science Center. These personalized brick pavers are a perfect way to honor the accomplishments of your graduating senior and their time spent at Hood.
