Service Projects
As part of the inauguration celebration, President Ricker has chosen to honor Hood College’s core value of Hope by supporting two nonprofit organizations supporting children—Blessings in a Backpack and Project Linus.
Through service projects, our community will pack food for children experiencing food insecurity and create blankets to comfort children in crisis. These simple yet powerful acts embody the spirit of hope: meeting immediate needs while inspiring brighter futures. Together, we celebrate President Ricker’s inauguration not only with ceremony, but also with service that reflects her vision and Hood’s enduring commitment to making a difference.
